No more ‘long distance’ for Brandy fans

For fans of American RnB singer Brandy, the ‘Long Distance’ relationship with their favourite singer that has been killing them for a long time will finally be broken with two performances at this year’s edition of Macufe.

Brandy will headline the immensely popular festival with performances at the Macufe Divas show as well as the Main Macufe Festival at The Dome, Old Greys and the Rose Garden respectively in Bloemfontein on 12 and 13 October.

Other musicians billed to serenade revellers to the Macufe festival, which turns 21 this year, include Oliver Mtukudzi, Nigerian Tiwa Savage, Nathi, Vusi Nova, Amanda Black, Semito, Presss, Zonke. Lady Zamar, DJ Mapholisa, DJ Zinzo, DJ What What and Busisiswa.

On the Gospel Show, Benjamin Dube and Lebo Sekgobela, Neyi Zimu, Women in Praise, Andiswa, Teboho, among others are some of the highlights. The show will take place at the Rose Garden on October 6.

The 10th of October is comedy night with the likes of Trevor Gumbi, Mashabela Galane, Chris Mapane, Noko Moswete, Piyet, Summary among others.
